Calvin Gray

Calvin Gray brings over 20 years of diverse experience to his work, beginning his career in 2003 in the construction industry with a focus on tower construction. In this early stage, he developed core skills in carpentry, concrete coordination, surveying, and equipment operation, laying the groundwork for future leadership roles. After transitioning to the landscape industry, Calvin’s leadership potential became evident.

Over 12 years, he ascended from foreman to project manager and eventually to Vice President of Construction. In these roles, he led complex projects, fostering strong teams and ensuring efficient execution of high-quality work. His leadership style emphasizes collaboration, integrity, and a focus on creating a positive work environment where everyone can thrive. Settled in Port Coquitlam with his family, Calvin maintains deep professional and personal ties to Chilliwack, which have played an important role in his career.

At KGH Equipment, Calvin finds inspiration in the people and camaraderie that define the company culture, emphasizing that the people is what make his work so rewarding. Known for his dedication and commitment to excellence, Calvin is driven by a deep desire to help others succeed and support the growth of those around him. His leadership is strongly influenced by his Christian faith, which guides him to create meaningful impact in both his professional endeavours and personal life.

Operations Manager

Justin Gauthier

Justin Gauthier brings a wealth of manufacturing and transportation experience to his role at KGH Equipment. With 18 years in the industry, including 16 years working for a Chilliwack-based transformer manufacturer called Cam Tran, Justin is well-equipped to take on the responsibilities of Operations Manager. Prior to joining KGH, Justin spent nine months working for Arrow Transportation.  

As Operations Manager, Justin will oversee day-to-day operations and support his teams to ensure their success. He is excited about the opportunity to work for KGH Equipment, which has a positive work culture and a commitment to community service through Westbow Gives Back. Justin is passionate about being part of a growing company that offers career development opportunities for its employees.

Project Manager

Francisco García

Francisco is KGH Equipment’s Project Manager, responsible for overseeing various projects from start to finish. Before joining KGH, Francisco worked in logistics in Mexico for over a decade. His experience included coordinating domestic and international shipments of machinery and industrial goods, managing schedules, and leading teams.

Francisco joined KGH after moving to Canada and learning about the exciting opportunity available at the company. He saw the chance to grow his strengths and develop his skills within an industry of great interest to him.  

As Project Manager, Francisco is responsible for tracking schedules, costs, and timelines and providing project support for equipment and materials. He also estimates costs for new projects in civil construction and landscaping.  

What Francisco enjoys most about working at KGH is being able to engage in ongoing projects and collaborate closely with the team on-site. Seeing the success of projects and building stronger relationships are incredibly rewarding to him, making every day at KGH exciting and fulfilling.

Operations Administrator

Jonny Rees

Jonny Rees serves as the Operations Administrator at KGH Equipment. Originally from England, Jonny first joined Westbow as a Marketing Coordinator. In this role, he spearheaded campaigns and projects, while overseeing marketing efforts for large housing developments as well as for KGH Equipment.  

After seeing KGH’s success firsthand as part of the marketing team, Jonny was eager to join the company and apply his skills and strengths to their operations side. As the Operations Administrator, Jonny collaborates with vendors, tradespeople, clients, and the KGH team to ensure successful communication and processes. He provides solutions and transparency within the workplace and acts as a direct support liaison for the team, both in the office and on-site. 

Jonny finds the variety of challenges and opportunities to work with different people, both internal and external to KGH, to be the most exciting aspect of his job. He enjoys being on-site to witness the team’s success in bringing projects to fruition and is particularly adept at providing solutions to the team’s needs and seeing them executed effectively.
